The CSS Profile (College Scholarship Service): The College Board's CSS Profile™ is an online application that collects information used by hundreds of colleges, universities, professional schools, and scholarship programs to award financial aid from sources outside of the federal government. The CSS Profile is specifically used by nearly 400 colleges, universities, and scholarship programs to award institutional financial aid and scholarships. This financial aid is separate from aid that a student might receive from their state government or the federal government through the FAFSA. After you submit your application, the College Board sends it to the colleges and scholarship programs you have chosen.
