Katie Maddox

Katie Maddox  is the Technology Director for Chilton County Schools, bringing 14 years of dedicated experience in public education. A Certified Google Trainer and active member of the Alabama Leaders in Educational Technology (ALET), she has completed both the ALTIC and Certified Technology Officer (CTO) programs. Throughout her career—spanning roles as a classroom teacher, school technology coordinator, and district leader—her primary mission has remained constant: helping educators leverage technology to work smarter, not harder. Outside of her work in edtech, she is the proud mom of two kids who keep her busy with dance recitals and soccer games.
