Quarterly Math AWARD:

Students must pass Math Facts test 3 times each quarter.
1st qtr: Pass 50 addition in 5 minutes
2nd qtr: Pass 75 addition in 5 min. and 50 subtraction in 5 min.
3rd qtr: Pass 90 addition in 5 min. and 75 subtraction in 5 min.
4th qtr: Pass 90 addition in 5 min. and 90 subtraction in 5 min.
How to study your math facts - Use flash cards, playing cards, or dice; parents call out 2 numbers between 1-10. Students practice addition facts - sums up to 20.
AUTOMATICITY WORD LIST
- Students are given a list of words to practice. Daily practice is a must to improve reading. Have your child read left to right. Time your child one minute and record how many words they read in one minute. The goal is to improve their score. Praise them for their efforts. Please keep the list at home and practice fluency every night. Continue daily practice!! PLEASE
