celebrates the diversity of the PV student body by putting their
talents, skills, and courage in leadership positions on center-stage.

Theatre Arts 1
Introduction to Theatre
This class is for students with little to no experience with Theatre who are interested in getting to know the world of Theatre Arts. In this class, we will learn acting techniques, improvisation, stage performance techniques, the history of Theatre, monologues, scenes, comedy, stage combat, musical skills, film study, and more.
Students will not perform in our plays or musicals,
No after-school commitment is required.
Anyone can join.
End of the year Showcase for families to meet Performing Arts credit.

Theatre Arts 2 (Theatre Rehearsal: Advanced Theatre and Stagecraft Class)
Theatre and Stagecraft students interested in/involved in our plays/musicals. This is a rehearsal class where stagecraft students learn and execute backstage and technical theatre and Theatre students act. Think of this class as Advanced Stagecraft and Advanced Theatre. Any Theatre or Stagecraft student interested in participating in our plays must join this class. Stagecraft students will do backstage tasks, theatre students will perform.
Students who have completed a full year of Stagecraft or Theatre one are eligible to join
Participation in the fall play and spring musical is required as a co-requisite.
Some after-school rehearsals are required (2 weeks per semester).
Meets Performing Arts Credit.
Stagecraft-non rehearsal.
Get to know the world of Theatre by creating all the items used in our plays and musicals as well as other Theatre projects. Non-acting class.
Participation in fall play and spring musical is required as a co-requisite.
