Welcome to writing intervention! The purpose of this class is to equip all pioneers with the writing skills they need to be successful at Bidwell, in high school, and beyond. We will be doing TONS of practice to hone our skills as writers. I am so glad you will be joining me in this awesome class!
Welcome to writing intervention! The purpose of this class is to equip all pioneers with the writing skills they need to be successful at Bidwell, in high school, and beyond. We will be doing TONS of practice to hone our skills as writers. I am so glad you will be joining me in this awesome class!
Expectations:
- Be ready to learn.
- Have all needed supplies before the bell rings.
- Sit up straight and make eye contact.
- Please remove hats and hoods.
- Have a respectful attitude.
- Listen respectfully to the teacher, aides, substitutes and classmates.
- Respond kindly when spoken to
- Engage with the lesson even if it’s not your favorite.
- Try your hardest.
- Answer questions and do work to the best of your ability.
- Say, “I don’t know yet,” or take an educated guess.
- Know that it’s ok to be wrong; it’s not ok not to try.
- Respond responsibly.
- Come in promptly after an absence to make up work.
- Let other students in the class learn well.
- Come in at lunch or do work at home if you are behind.
