L.E.A.D.ing Team
The L.E.A.D.ing team (Leadership Equity AVID Deputation Instructional Group) meets to view and analyze data, discuss successes and areas in need of more support, and to ensure progression of skills across all grade levels.

Site Level Data and Needs
The L.E.A.D.ing Team discusses and analyzes assessment and grade level meetings to plan for future staff meetings, site goals, and to support a sequential progression of skills across classrooms and grade levels. Classroom teachers complete AVID assessments 3 times per year.
Grade levels meet monthly to set, monitor and reflect on grade level SMART Goals. Teams collaborate to have shared AVID focus strategies and plan opportunities to integrate those strategies into classroom lessons.
LCC Hub
LCC HUB
The LCC HUB is an organization tool for administrators, teachers, and staff to use to access site level documents that support the implementation of MTSS at LCC. School wide schedules, committee agendas, academic, behavioral, and social emotional support resources.
Funding
LCC uses a variety of sources, including grants, to fund AVID professional development and materials for students. Students participate in a Read-a-thon each year to raise funds for binders, agendas, pencil pouches, and dividers to keep organized! In 2023-2023 We were awarded a $10,000 grant to help us fund the cost of sending teachers to SUmmer Institute.
AVID ASSESSMENTS
Three times a school year, teachers create and conduct assessments of AVID skills and strategies, including, binder, planner and desk checks.
