Camp runs from June 10-Aug 15th and staff will be scheduled M-F for each week. Staff are allowed to take one week (5 consecutive work days) off during the summer. In the event you are sick or an unplanned circumstance arises, please contact your direct Supervisor for assistance in finding a substitute.
You should have received an email from our HR Department with instructions to set up a When I Work Account. Please stop here if you haven't already downloaded the app and set up an account. For this training, you need to make sure your time is entered onto your time sheet.
If you did not clock in at the start of this training, you will need to add a time entry for your start time and end time.
When you clock in, please select the following fields:
Location - CARD Community Center/Creekside Rose Garden,
Position - If you don't work for CARD in other roles, you should only have one position available. If you have multiple, and select the wrong one, we can fix it.
Note - In the "Note" field, please enter "Summer Camp Online Training"
You will see "You do not have a shift scheduled" at the top, and that is OK! We will not have shifts in When I Work until Summer Camp starts.
If you are a current CARD Employee, and just clocked in and out for this training, still please add a note on your time so we can check this time specifically.
Employees must use the WhenIWork app to clock in and out for each shift. Employees are responsible for reviewing their timesheet each week and inserting a note if a time is missing.
Maximum work hours: All CARD part time employees are limited to working a maximum of 1000 hours per fiscal year (July 1-June 31) unless the employee is a member of PERS.
If shift is between 0 - 6 hours, the employee may choose to take one 15 minute paid rest break.
