All program registrations must be processed through CARD, either online or at the CARD Main Office. Instructors will have access to a roster of all pre-registered participants. Please note: if the minimum enrollment is not met, the program may be subject to cancellation.
All cancellations must be processed through CARD. Your assigned Recreation Supervisor or Coordinator will provide enrollment updates prior to the start of your camp or activity. Programs that do not meet the minimum participant requirements may be subject to cancellation. If you need to cancel a program, please notify the Recreation Supervisor at least five (5) business days in advance.
All CAMP refunds will be issued to the original payment method. If cash, expired credit card, or check were used as the original payment, we must issue a check for the refund amount. Or a credit can be made to a customer’s account for future use. Credits may be issued for medical or emergency situations with appropriate documentation. The credit to the account will expire in two years.
Camps- Requests for refunds, credits, or transfers must be received by Thursday at 10:00 AM prior to the Camp start date.
Classes- There are no refunds for classes. Requests for credits or transfers must be received by Thursday at 10 AM prior to the start date.
Credit Reconciliation- In the instance that a credit expires, all efforts will be made to contact the client about the pending expiration. All credits will be reallocated to either the youth scholarship fund or the General Fund.
Cancellation due to Enrollment- All class cancellations due to low enrollment or any other unforeseen circumstance will be refunded.
Class Cancellation- Classes cancelled due to weather or air quality will be rescheduled for up to one week at the end of the season, when possible. There are no refunds for individual cancelled classes.
Instructor Cancellation- All class cancellations made by the instructor should be followed up by a make-up session. If no make-up session is possible, participants will be issued an account credit. (Instructors forfeit this payment amount).
Classes & Camps-
Repeat the program at no charge.
Receive full credit that can be used for any other CARD program.
CARD will notify the instructor immediately, and the instructor will not receive payment for the participant.
If the participant chooses to repeat the program, the instructor will not receive payment for the repeated class.
Should concerns arise that a customer is abusing District Policy, District Leadership will review options for handling the situation.
