To end our journey with The Great Gatsby, we invited Professor Tony Bowers to have a q&a session with students. Students discussed the book our final projects are based on. They also had the opportunity to ask questions related to college and career choices. Enjoy!
In the projects that follow, students created slideshows highlighting what they believe the American Dream means, what their vision for their future is, and who, if anyone, can attain this version of the American Dream. Students apply their understanding of the American Dream, as exemplified by the character James Gatz from The Great Gatsby.
