Hsinchu Open Invitational
Following the success of our debut event, the inaugural Hsinchu Open Invitational on 18 May, 2025 (for more information regarding the event, please refer to the 2025 Inaugural Hsinchu Open Invitational), we are thrilled to announce the 2nd Annual Hsinchu Open Invitational, returning on May 17, 2026, at ChungHsin School in Hsinchu.
Building on last year's momentum, the 2026 tournament will again feature two competitive debate tracks:
The Open Track: Open to all international schools and local schools seeking advanced competition.
The Local Track: Exclusive to local schools.
We look forward to welcoming both new and returning teams for another day of rigorous debate, inspiring speeches, and collaboration.
The tournament adheres to the National Speech and Debate Assocation's (NSDA) Public Forum rules and guidelines.

Judging is one of the most direct ways to support the next generation of debaters. Our mission is to make competitive debate accessible to students who might not otherwise have the opportunity to participate, and that only happens when experienced, committed individuals show up to evaluate their work. Without judges, there are no tournaments.
To sign up as a judge, please fill out this form here.
