Birthdays will be celebrated on or near your child's birthday.  Summer birthdays will be celebrated on a special day before school ends. On your child's special day, they will get a crown, pencil, sticker and certificate.  The best part is they get to stand on our stage (table!!) and be sung to!  They get to say the magic words "munch and crunch!" 

Snack time happens every day!  Please pack a small snack separate from lunch!  

The communication app, Talking Points, is where I will post up to date information about what is going in in class.  For log in information,please email me! 

At the end of each unit in Skills (phonics/reading) and Math, tests will be sent home for review and a signature in a large envelope.  Weekly or bi-weekly, math pages will be sent home so that you know what we were going over in class.  Daily "take home" pages will come home in Skills.  These pages do not need to be returned unless they are being used as a homework option! 

Homework should be no more than 10 minutes- we work hard from the minute we walk in the door!  

Each week a choice board will be sent home, students should be in charge of which activity they do each night.  Return the board and any additional pages by Friday!  

There may be weeks that a project is the homework instead or there may be 2 weeks on 1 board if the weeks are shorter!  

Chuffie is a mixed up monster (puppet) who visits us during blue book and skills.  He needs help with sounds and even though children are delicious, he promises to not eat anyone!  Ha ha!
