This is my 18th year teaching! I have taught third grade for 4 years, 6th grade for 6 years, and 4th grade for 8 years!  I can't wait to get to know my new students this year. For now, I'll tell you a little about myself! I'm a very outdoorsy person. I love hiking, camping, fishing, horseback riding, and above all....the BEACH! Which is why I live in Brick, NJ. Yes, the commute is about 45 minutes everyday, but I really don't mind because I love where I live and I love where I work! :-) My husband and I got married in 2005. We have 3 kids together- Joe will be receiving his Associates Degree in Liberal Arts in December from Ocean County College. Andrew will be a Sophomore at Brick Memorial High School, and Madison will be in 7th grade at Veterans Memorial Middle School. Father time slow down! My husband Mike has worked in Law Enforcement for 20 years and has worked as a Sheriff's deputy, Detective, and now works for U.S. Customs and Border Protection at Newark Airport.  I grew up in Tabernacle, NJ and moved with my husband to Arkansas in 2005, where his mother and sister live. We lived there for 9 years before moving back to New Jersey (where my parents and twin sister live).  Looking forward to a great year with your child and getting to know them well!
