This is my 20th year teaching! I have taught third grade for 4 years, 6th grade for 6 years, and 4th grade for 10 years! I can't wait to get to know my new students this year. For now, I'll tell you a little about myself! I'm a very outdoorsy person. I love hiking, camping, fishing, horseback riding, and above all....the BEACH! Which is why I live in Brick, NJ. Yes, the commute is about 45 minutes everyday, but I really don't mind because I love where I live and I love where I work! :-) My husband and I got married in 2005. We have 3 kids together- Joe will be starting a new job with US Customs in October, following in his father's and grandfather's footsteps! Andrew will be a Senior at Brick Memorial High School, and Madison will be starting 9th grade at Donovan Catholic High School this Fall. Father time slow down! My husband Mike has worked in Law Enforcement for 28 years and has worked as a Sheriff's deputy, Detective, and has worked for U.S. Customs and Border Protection at Newark Airport for the last 12 years. I grew up in Tabernacle, NJ and moved with my husband to Arkansas in 2005, where his mother and sister live. We lived there for 9 years before moving back to New Jersey (where my parents and twin sister live). Looking forward to a great year with your child and getting to know them well!
