Spring Track and Field is a “no cut” team. Students of all abilities are welcome to participate. We do have a maximum number of students permitted per team and spots are limited. Therefore, as the season approaches, any student who is interested or has questions should reach out. Students are NOT required to participate in all track events but are certainly encouraged to try something new, considering some running and field events are new to most middle schoolers.
Important Criteria for Track and Field
To participate on the team, an athletic fee is required, which must be paid in advance. (See Link Below)
Required for practice: sneakers, running attire (be sure to bring layers for warmups and cooldowns), water bottle. We suggest players bring a snack to refuel after practice.
Players are expected to review, sign and return the BRMS Code of Conduct form, as well as any health and permission slip forms before the first practice. (See Forms Below)
Once the season starts, players should stay up-to-date on all announcements, forms and general information by checking the Team Google Classroom daily.
