Student Leadership Council/Safety Patrol:
Do you want to help make our amazing school even better? Do you have fun ideas for spirit days, kindness projects, or helping others? Then the Student Leadership Council might be for you! The Student Leadership Council is a group of students from Grades 3, 4, and 5 who work together to plan fun events for the school, help spread kindness to others, share ideas for improvement, be role models for classmates, and much more. Each homeroom will have 4 students on the Council (and each participant would be on the Council for half the school year). If more than 4 students sign up in your class, we will pick names from a hat (a lottery!) to make it fair. Even if you don’t get picked this time, you can still help with some activities or try again later! Our student leadership councils will need your help in the classrooms! Meetings will be on Tuesday mornings, 8:00-8:30 on a rotational schedule. Stay tuned for a more specific calendar after enrollment is completed. Student Leadership members may be asked to continue working on projects during their lunch or recess occasionally. THIS CLUB IS FULL.

We are looking for students who can show responsibility, teamwork, and kindness. If you’re interested, you’ll also be asked to write or type a short statement about why you’d be a great Safety Patroller. Be sure to include how you currently show (or will show) good character and responsibility. Safety Patrollers serve for half the school year so more students can take part. Meetings will be on Tuesday mornings from 8:00–8:30. A calendar will be provided shortly after enrollment. Please return this Safety Patrol Permission Slip by Thursday, October 17th to either Mrs. Andolina's or Mrs. DiFabrizio’s mailbox.
