Parents and students are responsible for proper attire. Selections should reflect awareness of health and safety while keeping the ultimate goal of education in mind. Clothing that impedes upon that goal will not be permitted. The following list that shall serve as a guideline of inappropriate clothing: short-shorts; pants that sit below the hips and can easily fall off; tops with very thin or no straps; tops that expose midriff; clothing that exposes undergarments; inappropriate neck lines; pajamas* or slippers; clothing with lewd or inappropriate messages; hats* inside the building; shoes with wheels; and accessories that could be viewed as a danger.
If a student’s clothing is deemed inappropriate, they will be asked to call home for a change of clothing.
