Physical, Skills, and Volunteering Requirements

Participants must complete the Physical, Skills, and Volunteering sections once a week for an hour. Two of these sections must be completed over three months, and one over six months.

While we will assist students in selecting activities and monitor their progress, completing these sections is primarily the student's responsibility.

– Bronze – for those aged 14+ years

If you aren’t 14 yet but are in the school year in which your peer group turn fourteen, you may be able to start a Bronze DofE programme – check with Miss Overbeck if unsure.

Although students will have meetings with our DofE team to receive support, we would like to remind you that, as this is an extra-curricular activity, we expect students, as well as parents / carers, to ensure that the different sections are completed and they are done so on time.

Please ensure that your child is committed to completing all four parts of the Award, with a view to completing by the end of June of the year they started .
