WMS Summer Reading
This summer we want you all to read as much as you can! Reading consistently over the summer can help you maintain the growth that you made over the school year, improve your mental health, give you a chance to escape and develop empathy by exploring the stories of others, and avoid any summer boredom.
Hopefully, you made a bookmark before school ended, but if you haven’t here is the link for it. Here is a video about how to fill it out.
Even though there is not a required amount of reading for you to do, we want to push you to read as much as possible. Set a goal on the bookmark and try to average 30 minutes of reading each day.
When we return after the summer break, you will share your bookmark with your Language Arts teacher, and we will have some prizes and celebrations for students who read over the summer.
