In fact, all of the activities connect together about the same topic! You won’t have to waste time searching online for materials; it will be in the palm of your hands.

Each activity has all of the materials you need to get you started. No need to scramble for supplies!


All activities come with: materials, written directions, a video, extra challenges, the science behind it, related STEM careers, famous people in STEM and other resources connected to the topic.

Hey there teacher! I’m Naomi Meredith.


I’m a former classroom teacher turned K-5 STEM teacher. This is my 5th year teaching STEM at Rolling Hills. With over a decade of teaching experience along with a M.Ed. in STEM Leadership and a STEM Certificate, all of this experience is being poured into the STEM Snack Packs.


While I’ve been known to host a variety of after-school clubs over the years, I wanted to create an opportunity that can serve more kids at our school beyond a traditional club. In turn, I fully believe in the value of hands-on learning and sharing that experience at home.


After talking with parents over the years, there is always a common thread that they want to do more STEM-based activities with their kids, but don’t know where to start. Likewise, materials can often be a major roadblock. Even when the activity is done, what are the next steps to learn more?


That’s why STEM Snack Packs were created!


If you are ready to save time and integrate ready-to-go STEM activities into your home, then you have come to the right place!

Included in each STEM Snack Pack is a themed puzzle sheet, after you complete each activity, color and cut out a piece of the puzzle. Once the puzzle is complete, return the sheet to Ms. Meredith (Rolling Hills’ STEM teacher) and receive a

small prize!

I don’t have time to do STEM activities at home.


I already have supplies at home, I don’t need any more.


It’s too expensive. Why do I even need to pay money for this?

...but here is why STEM Snack Packs are perfect for you!


  • There is no time limit as to when these need to be completed. These are perfect for after-school, days when the weather outside isn’t great or even logn breaks. Take as long as you need to explore these activities.

  • You probably have supplies at home, but you have to take the time to collect them before you get started. These STEM Snack Packs have all the materials you need in once place. Save time searching and start building right away.


  • The cost of the kit is to cover all of the supplies that are inside. Items are bought in bulk to keep the pricing low. This will actually save you money because you don’t need to go out and buy specific items to complete each activity. It’s all done for you.

All payments will be made in the online system, RevTrack. Log into your Parent Rev Track account https://cherrycreek.revtrak.net/ to register for the kits. No cash or checks will be accepted.

Paid registration for each month will end on the following dates so that supplies can be prepared and sent home in a timely manner.

October Box

Registration Closes: September 16

Boxes will be sent home week of October 10


December Box

Registration Closes: November 18

Boxes will be sent home week of December 19


March Box

Registration Closes: February 10

Summer Box

Registration Closes: April 21st

Boxes will be sent home week of May 22nd

FAQ's

Who are the STEM Snack Packs made for?

Any K-5 student who attends Rolling Hills Elementary.

When do I have access to the materials?

Monthly kits will be delivered to classrooms during the week before the school break it's intended for. No shipping of boxes will take place. It’s all in-house.

Is there a certain amount of time these activities need to be completed?

There is no time frame as to when these need to be completed. Fit them into your week when it makes the most sense for your family. As soon as your child/ren complete all 4 activities, have them bring back the puzzle sheet and earn a small prize.

I missed the deadline! Can I purchase past month's kits?

At this time, past kits can’t be purchased as materials are carefully counted for the registration at the time of the deadline. Extra materials aren’t kept on-hand for most kits. The cost of the kit covers all of the materials placed inside.
