My name is Mrs. deBree and I'm so excited to be starting a new year of music learning at Ponderosa. I will use this page to keep you up to date with all things music at Ponderosa.
Performances at Ponderosa in the gym. Our first performance will be on November 6th 5:30-6:30pm. Spring Concert will be April 30th 5:30-6:30pm.
Choir starts next Tuesday September 16th.
We will have rehearsals every Tuesday after school 2:45-3:45pm. I will dismiss students through the front door of the school at 3:45pm. Panther Club students will go straight to Panther Club ( You must sign extra paper work for your student to leave Panther Club for Choir).
Please be on time to pick up your students. If a student has 3 late pick ups I will have to ask them to leave the Choir.
Students will have 10 minutes at the beginning of each rehearsal to eat and socialize with friends, so send them with a snack. But after the 10 minutes is up they are expected to be ready to sing.
Phones are to remain in backpacks for the duration of rehearsal. If they are expecting a call from you they can place their phone on my desk and I will let them know when they receive a call or text otherwise phones will be taken from students if they are being used during Choir.
Due to Choir having 60 members this year I will have to be very strict with behavior. If a student is being disruptive or is refusing to sing they will be asked to leave choir and will not be permitted back until the following year. This is a zero tolerance policy, so no second chances.

Choir starts next Tuesday Sept. 16th and is every Tuesday 2:45-3:45 pm that school is scheduled.
If students are picked up late 3 times they will not be allowed to continue in Choir.
Students can eat snacks before choir starts.
No phones should be used during choir or they will be confiscated.
Being disruptive or disrespectful or unwilling to sing during choir will cause a student to be asked to leave choir and they will not be allowed back until the next year. This is a zero tolerance policy.
