2nd Grade

My name is Kimberly Ihme. I am married to my high school sweetheart and a mom of 2 boys! I am a Colorado native and love the outdoors. We spend a lot of time as a family playing sports, camping, and fishing. This is my 11th year teaching. I have previously taught Kindergarten, 1st, and STEAM. I absolutely love teaching and couldn't imagine doing anything else!

I feel so fortunate to have a job that I love so much! This will be my 18th year teaching. I have taught kindergarten, first, second and fifth grade. I love teaching and learning in the primary years where it all begins.

My time away from school is spent with my family. Being proud natives to Colorado, we try to spend as much time outdoors enjoying what our beautiful state has to offer.

I am so excited to be starting my seventh year of teaching in our amazing Peakview community! I taught first grade for five years and this will be my second year teaching second grade.

I’m newly married (woot woot) and used to be known as Miss Newman. I love spending my free time with my husband and dog, Cooper. We love golfing, skiing, and being with friends and family.
