I am entering my 9th year at Challenge School and my 20th year of teaching! I am the department coordinator for CHL gifted students and primarily co-plan and co-teach with elementary students. I have worked with gifted students PK-12th grade and have my doctorate in gifted education. Outside of school I love spending time with my twin daughters who are in 7th grade this year!

I’m excited to be joining this amazing community for the second year. This is my 11th year with Cherry Creek Schools and my 17th year of teaching. I’m especially looking forward to working with 5th–8th grade classes again this year at Challenge. 

When I’m not at school, you’ll probably find me out on the golf course, hiking a trail, or paddle boarding on a lake. I also love traveling, reading, and diving into home remodeling projects. I have two awesome adult kids and a wonderful daughter-in-law who keep life fun and full. Looking forward to an incredible year together!
