Technology Teacher 2nd-7th Grades


Allie Sandler is the new 2nd-7th grade technology teacher at Cherry Creek Academy. Allie has 11 years of teaching experience. She has taught in 2nd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade classrooms. She is excited to teach technology and be a part of the CCA community!

As a student, Allie attended Cherry Creek High School and went on to earn her elementary education degree from Fort Lewis College. She will be graduating from CU Denver with her masters in Technology Literacies (K-12 education) in December 2019.

Technology is her true passion and she is looking forward to exposing students to new technology tools and experiences this year!

Teaching Philosophy

Allie Sandler believes in making learning a hands on and unique experience for every child. She strives to create learning experiences that connect to students personal interests and background knowledge. Music, art, and movement are important to her and she strives to include these in her daily lessons and projects.

Allie Sandler is a firm believer in forming relationships with students, parents, and families. She believes that every child can learn and that it takes a team to meet the needs of every learner.

It is Mrs. Sandler's job to create life long learners who will become contributing members of our society!
