Biography
Hello Cherry Creek Academy Families! My name is Morgan Miller and I am so excited to be teaching Kindergarten this year! I graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I have taught 2nd grade for the past three years in the Weld County School District 6. I have always loved working with children and can’t wait for this shift to Kindergarten.
Some of my favorite things to do include baking, going to the mountains, oil painting, gardening, exploring Europe, and spending time with my husband and our super cute goldendoodle named Fannie!!
Teaching Philosophy
I believe learning and development is a mountain with no top. I love learning and oftentimes find my students teaching me just as much as I teach them. I always build our classroom community by teaching kids how to be safe, responsible, and respectful. It is vital to build relationships and embrace every child’s individuality to ensure they feel safe and valued in our classroom. In addition to building relationships with students, I also believe partnering with parents and families is key to maximizing student success.
