STUDIO RULES

• Be Safe - with your materials and your health
• Be Respectful - to each other, the workspace, the art and the supplies
• Be Productive - work hard and do your best
• Be Patient - things are new and changing

EXPECTATIONS

1. Try Hard – Always do your best.
2. Work Hard – Stay focused and complete work on your assignment.
3. Encourage Others – Help others to do their best and stay focused too!

REWARDS

• I have created BADGES that you can earn in Art
• They will show up in your Schoology account
• As you accumulate badges, you can receive prizes

CONSEQUENCES

• Reminder - I will remind you of the expected behavior
• Warning - I will repeat the reminder of the expected behavior as well indicate consequence for repeated negative behavior.
• C.A.P. (Character Action Plan) with reflection sheet on how to change the behavior and how to make amends for the repeated negative behavior

PROCEDURES (In Class)

• Entering - enter the room and go to your assigned table area.
• Freeze Frame –Stop immediately, look to Mrs. Peterson and listen for directions.
• Fire Drill – Line up at the front door, we will silently exit building and remain silent on the field.
• Tornado Drill – Line up at front door, silently follow Mrs. Peterson to duck and cover location.
• Lock Down Drill - silently follow directions on where to move. Remain still and quiet during the drill.
• End of Class – Listen for clean up directions, clean up, tuck, tie, tuck, button and zip and wait quietly at your place until I count back to 1.
• Badges - I will award badges for positive behaviors, work and participation
• Personal Emergencies – Always interrupt for emergencies like: bathroom, bleeding, need to throw up, etc.
• Designated Area -Remain in your area and maintain your social distancing protocols. Ask permission to use the sinks, etc.
• Absences - Let Mrs. Peterson know as soon as you can that you were absent last time. If you do not catch up in class, ask at end what you need to do for homework.
