On March 14, Governor Cooper announced an executive order closing all public schools in an effort to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
Cherokee County Schools is working hard to continue to provide learning opportunities for all of our students during this time of uncertainty.
ACE and Remote Learning Plans will continue to guide and allow students to complete schoolwork at home on days when schools are closed. We will continue to follow the directive of our state officials and provide remote learning opportunities as directed. As a school system, we are working with local businesses, charitable foundations, and state agencies to provide WiFi hubs to make our remote learning opportunities widely available to each community. We will continue to update as more resources become available.
