About me

A native of Cleveland County, I have had the pleasure of teaching middle school students for more than thirty years and am excited to continue my career at Cherokee Charter Academy. I have a bachelor's degree in intermediate education, a master's degree in middle grades education, and National Board Certification in Early Adolescence English Language Arts. My husband Russell and I live in Boiling Springs, North Carolina. Reading, watching movies, taking long walks, and having fun with family and friends are some of my favorite activities.
