Chenango Food Alliance is holding a brisket raffle to support local food access work in Chenango County.
This page is for public information only. Raffle tickets are available in person only at approved CFA collection points during the Oxford Farmers Market on Saturdays, May 23 through June 27, from 9:00 AM to noon.
The raffle prize is one brisket, donated by Peaceful by Nature Farm.
Prize details, pickup instructions, and any storage or delivery arrangements will be confirmed with the winner after the drawing.
The winner is responsible for coordinating prize pickup with CFA unless another arrangement is approved by CFA.
$5 per ticket or 5 tickets for $20 or 15 tickets for $50
Tickets may be obtained in person only during market hours.
Accepted payment methods are cash or check only.
Tickets are available only from approved CFA collectors or vendor booths displaying the CFA raffle sign below.
Each purchaser must provide a name and phone number or email address so the winner can be contacted.
Purchasers may choose to opt in to receive CFA updates. Newsletter sign-up is optional and is not required to purchase a raffle ticket or enter the drawing.
Raffle tickets are not sold online.
Online payments, comments, messages, Venmo transfers, Zeffy donations, Facebook comments, emails, texts, or other digital requests do not purchase a ticket and do not create a raffle entry.
Tickets are issued only when payment is received in person by an approved CFA collector or at the market.
The winner will be drawn on: June 27th, 2026 at 11:00 am
Location of drawing: Oxford Farmers Market.
The winner does not need to be present.
Ticket sales close 30 minutes before the scheduled drawing time. For the June 27, 2026 drawing, ticket sales close at 10:30 AM.
Tickets purchased after the cutoff are not eligible for that drawing. No tickets may be issued once the sales cutoff has passed.
The winner will be contacted using the name, phone number, or email address provided at the time of ticket purchase.
If the winner cannot be reached within a reasonable time, CFA may make additional contact attempts using the information provided.
CFA will contact the winner using the name, phone number, or email address provided at the time of ticket purchase.
If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 7 calendar days after the drawing, CFA may draw a new winner from the remaining eligible ticket stubs.
All ticket stubs will be retained until the prize is claimed or the fallback period has ended.
Proceeds support Chenango Food Alliance’s local food access work, including efforts that help connect local farms, local food, and local families.
CFA maintains raffle records, including ticket numbers, purchaser contact information, payment received, collector records, and drawing results.
