Here is where you will find the core materials for PH211-213.
Each folder is for 1 topic- which is intended to be covered in 1 week.
Within each folder, you will find "many" files that all start with numbers. The rough idea is to go through them in numerical order. Below is the general organization:
0 is the introduction. A document to get through first thing.
1 is for subtopic 1. There will be two files- materials and practice assignment.
Materials are often video lectures or what to read in the textbook to learn the definitions and concepts on your own time.
Practice assignment has problems to work on. These will often be worked on during class time.
2 and 3 are for subtopics 2 and 3 and follow the same organization as subtopic 1.
4 will be the explanation assignment.
5 is extra material and practice that is not required to be done.Â
The extra material is more physics that just isn't the focus of the week, but quite related. It can help bring everything together, but will not be tested on.
The extra practice is for the core material, but not required to be done.
6 is study tips to help with the weekly quiz.
7 is optional background support. It might be some math video reminders, it might be references to previous materials.
