Mini Biography:  Professionally, I have been teaching at Chemeketa since 1999 where I strive to share the amazing world of science and especially microbes!  Academically, I earned my B.S. from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and my M.S. from the Univ. of California, San Francisco (UCSF).  Personally, my family is composed of my husband (a fellow science nerd), my two sons (Beavers at OSU), and my entourage of animals (2 dogs, 2 cats, and 7 goats).  My hobbies include tennis, reading, and working on our permaculture-inspired homestead (a work in progress!).
