Parents have the right to expect that their children will be educated in a secure environment in which care, courtesy and respect for the rights of others are encouraged
Parents have an obligation to support the college in its efforts to maintain a positive teaching and learning environment
Parents have a right to be respected and treated as the major influence in a child’s development
Parents have a right to have access to staff at a mutually arranged time
Parents have a responsibility to encourage good behaviour habits in their children and to encourage their children to accept college rules and to support the college in putting the Code of Conduct into practice
Parents have a responsibility to keep sick children at home and to report this to the college by a phone call and note. Students should also get a good sleep at night
Parents have a responsibility to keep the college informed of their current phone number, address and an emergency contact person
Parents have a responsibility to collect their child from the college when contacted to do so
Teachers have the right to expect that they will be able to teach in an orderly and cooperative environment
Teachers have a right to expect strong support from the college community (Principal, staff, school council and parents) in following the Code of Conduct
Teachers have the responsibility to accept college rules and to encourage all others to accept college rules
Teachers have a responsibility to see that all aspects of the Code of Conduct are consistently implemented
Principals and staff have an obligation to fairly, reasonably and consistently implement student behaviour management guidelines
Students have a responsibility to allow other students to learn
Students have a right not to have others interfere with their work or activities
Students have a responsibility to follow college rules
Students have a responsibility to strive for their best in everything they do
Students have a responsibility to come to school and to be on time unless they are sick or have a special reason
Students have a responsibility to wear the complete College uniform correctly whilst at school, on college business, or travelling to and from school
