Founded by teachers for teachers, BetterLesson began in 2008 with a single mission: to provide a simple way for educators to connect and share high-quality lesson plans.

Their Master Teacher Project, launched in 2012 and offered in partnership with the NEA, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and The Learning Accelerator, provides comprehensive lesson plans in K-12 Math, Science, English, and Blended Learning from high-performing teachers. These plans cover not only the what, but also the how of effective curriculum.
