Hello CAMS Families!!
My name is Ms. Turechek, and I am the Reading Specialist at CAMS. I truly believe that reading is one key to a happy, successful life. I help students across all grades at Clark learn to become stronger readers. My favorite genres are historical fiction and fantasy, and I am a Harry Potter super fan. When I'm not in school or reading I love relaxing with my daughter Jane, coaching 10U softball, travelling, or just doing nothing together.

Nightly Reading
Students should spend at least 20 minutes reading every night (outside of school hours). Just like playing a sport or musical instrument, READING is the best way to become a stronger reader.
All students will receive an independent reading book when they pick up their supplies at school. There are also a number of free online sources you can use to find books and articles to read listed below.
Find something you like, and JUST KEEP READING!!!
