What does it mean to be high school ready?
Being high school ready means practicing the skills and habits you need to be ready for the challenges and opportunities of high school. This includes showing the Cougar traits of Citizenship, Leadership, Accountability, Respect, and Knowledge, but it is more than that. Are you showing your teachers your best efforts in all of your classes? Are you asking for help when you need it? Are you taking responsibility for yourself and your own choices? Being high school ready does not mean that you are on the honor roll; it means that you are taking your job as a student seriously and showing a growth mindset.
