Welcome from the Principal

I am delighted to welcome you to this Year 6 Transition website. I know that this time is a little strange and that we should have been welcoming you all into Chelsea Academy. You would have met key Year 7 staff and visited the Academy to familiarise you with the layout. However we have all had to do things differently in the last few months haven't we? So this website has been specially created for you. It will help you and your parent or carer find out all the information you need to know, before starting Year 7 in September.

As I mention to you in a little film that you can watch, you and I are starting the academy together. I am also moving from my current school to come and be the new Principal. You will be an incredibly special and important year group as we commence our Chelsea Academy journey together. I am thrilled you and your parent have chosen the Academy. It is an amazing school with fantastic teachers and lots of other adults who work so hard to make your time at the Academy happy and successful. As you hopefully know the Academy facilities are also excellent and there will be so many opportunities for you to achieve and excel. The Chelsea Academy vision 'Learning together to flourish' is achieved through our mission to Work Hard. Be Kind and Make No Excuses. This helps us be the very best version of ourselves.

September brings a new beginning for us all. At Chelsea Academy we can be confident in the knowledge that as a community we are anchored in Christ. This gives us faith, hope and love for our new beginning.

I can't wait to meet you in a few months. Hopefully you can mark the end of Year 6 with your teachers, family and friends, and go on to have a restful and happy summer break.
