Locked mode in Quizzes in Google Forms

To keep students focused and distraction-free during tests and quizzes, we’re launching locked mode in Google Forms this fall. Available on managed Chromebooks, locked mode prevents students from navigating away from the Quiz until they submit their answers. Teachers will be able to enable locked mode with a simple checkbox, giving them full control over assessments. (Google website)

Running Total Points When Creating A Quiz

Google recently gave those creating quizzes, in Google Forms, the ability to view a running total of points as quizzes are being created. In the upper, right corner of the quiz, you'll see the "Total points" feature (see image below). As you create the questions, and place a point value to the question, the running total will tally up the total points you've given.
