We are proud to showcase the incredible creativity and artistic leadership of our Collegiate Prep scholars who participated in this year’s National PTA Reflections Program. This virtual gallery highlights each student’s original work, along with their artist statement describing the inspiration behind their piece.
This year marks a historic moment for Collegiate Prep—our first time submitting six entries, the highest number ever from our campus. Even more exciting, every single one of our scholars advanced to the district level of judging, with the opportunity to continue on to state and national recognition. Their talent, courage, and imagination speak powerfully to this year’s theme, and we are honored to celebrate their voices.
As you explore this gallery, we invite you to:
✨ Take your time with each piece
✨ Read the scholars’ statements in their own words
✨ Appreciate the depth, vulnerability, and pride in their work
✨ Celebrate the brilliance our scholars bring to the arts and to our school community
Thank you for joining us in uplifting our student artists. Their creativity enriches our campus, inspires their peers, and reflects the vibrant spirit of belonging at Collegiate Prep.

Dance Choreography - Intermediate
6am
"I wanted to show this dance to show my creativity and my personality that I belong. I've been dancing for a long time and when I dance, it makes me feel free and shows that I am confident and beautiful and strong and I do believe that I belong and will one day be a great dancer and performer."
Film Production - Primary
Jase in the Universe
"These are the times I work hard for a goal and to belong."

Tito's Adventure to Belonging
"Sometimes you have to go on an adventure to find where you belong. You might go to places where people don't look like you or places you've never been before. But if you keep being yourself, you'll find where you belong. Just like Tito did on his adventure. Remember to never give up and always be yourself, because no matter where you go, you belong."
Music Composition - Intermediate
Together in Harmony
"Hello! This is my entry for Reflections 2025-2026. The theme is "I Belong." My piano piece, "Together in Harmony," starts playful and simple to show happiness and comfort, then becomes more serious to reflect times when belonging feels harder. The middle section is faster and more comlicated to show growth and challenges in my relationships. I wanted the music to show that even when notes sound different, they can still belong together and create something beautiful. Returning to the first melody at the end shows that no matter how much we change, we always find our place."
Visual Arts - Primary
Puzzle Piece Masterpiece
"My art is called Puzzle Piece Masterpiece. I made it with lots of colors and puzzle pieces. The puzzle picesa re all different, just like people. When we put them together, they make a beautiful picture. I made this to show that even though we're all different, we all fit together and we all belong."

We Are Different, but We All Belong
"My painting is about how we are all different, but we all belong. We live in a world that always talks about what makes us different, but I think our differences are what make us special. Even if we don't look the same or come rom the same place, we all belong together."
Thank you for spending time in our Virtual Art Gallery. We hope this showcase allowed you to experience the heart, imagination, and expressive power of our Collegiate Prep scholars in a meaningful way. Each piece represents a moment of courage—an artist choosing to share their voice and vision with others.
While the judging continues at the district, state, and national levels, this gallery stands on its own as a celebration of the creativity within our school community. These works remind us that belonging is not just a theme—it is something our scholars help create through the stories they tell and the art they share.
To our artists: Thank you for your bravery, your vision, and your voice.
To our families: Thank you for nurturing their gifts and encouraging their passion.
To our community: Thank you for celebrating and uplifting our scholars.
With brighter hearts because of your brilliance,
Cedar Hill Collegiate Prep PTA
