School begins at 8:05am and ends at 3:35pm. If you need to pick up your scholar early, you should do so by 3pm; otherwise, early dismissals aren’t permitted as the school staff has begun preparing for end of day dismissal.
Car Rider: Morning Drop Off: At Collegiate Prep, families may begin dropping off scholars at 7:45am. It is important to note that families should never drop their scholars off prior to 7:45am. If a scholar needs before school care, then families should consider registering with the Right at School Program that accepts scholars on the campus as early as 6:30am M-F or finding another way to ensure that their scholar is properly cared for until being released, at the appointed time, to the care of Collegiate Prep’s faculty and staff.
Car Rider: Afternoon Pick Up: Once the final school bell rings bus riders and walkers are released first; then car riders. Families should be certain to have their scholar car tags readily available in the dash of their car to verify they are authorized to pick up their scholar. Otherwise, government issued identification is required and families will need to verify their identity with the front office.
School pickup is typically completed within 30-40 minutes. It is important to note; however, that the first 1-2 weeks may require additional time as new members of our school community are learning the ropes. Thank you for being patient and helping where you can.
If a scholar requires after school care, families may also consider using the Right at School Program that cares for scholars M-F until 6:30pm.
Check out the drop off/pick up procedures page. Here you will find written instruction outlining the process along with a helpful video and pick up map.
You should get in the car line that that aligns to your youngest scholar.
