About me
This is my third year at East and my thirteenth year of teaching! I taught 8th grade English Language Arts for 10 years, so I am so excited to "promote" to high school! I have taught all different levels of English.
I'm excited to have earned an award for NJ Distinguished Student Teacher of 2013 for my student teaching at Carusi Middle School. I was also awarded The Rider University Cooperating Teacher Excellence Award for Spring 2023.
I also make sourdough bread, garden, cook, have two dogs and a cat, love to learn and read, and love to watch or listen to things that make me laugh! To me, the most important thing in the world is family, so I am looking forward to getting to work with this amazing school community and family!
