As a reminder, the ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 Assessment helps students and families understand students' current level of English language proficiency along the WIDA developmental continuum. Additionally, this assessment serves as one of multiple measures used to determine whether students are prepared to exit English language support programs.
The ACCESS for ELLS 2.0 Assessment is a way for our students to demonstrate their level of success during this academic year. The students are assessed in the five English Language Development (ELD) standards:
Social & Instructional Language
Language of Language Arts
Language of Mathematics
Language of Science
Language of Social Studies
Please remember the following important details so that we can provide the best testing experience possible for our students. All students need to:
go to bed early and get a restful night's sleep
eat a healthy breakfast
arrive to school on time
dress comfortably for classroom temperatures
Good luck to everyone!
