US History 2

US History 2 begins at the turn of the century with all the changes taking place. The course looks at the political, social, and economic changes that take place over the 20th century (and beyond) as the United States emerge as a major player in the world.

African American Studies

The African American Studies course will provide an overview of the history of Africans and their descendants across the globe. This includes, but is not limited to, African civilizations prior to European colonization, encounters between Africa and Europe, the displacement of Africans to the Americas and elsewhere, and development of Black communities in and outside Africa.


 

About me

Mr. Davis graduated from East in 1995, received a Bachelor’s degree from James Madison University four years later, and his Master’s from Villanova.  He has been teaching for 24 years.  In addition to teaching, Mr. Davis serves as East’s Coordinator of Student Activities.
