About me
I am starting my fifth year here at East and this is my 20th year of teaching. I am the co-advisor for the class of 2025. My favorite event here at East is the student versus the faculty basketball game.
I graduated from Kean University in May 2004. I taught at Kingsway Regional High School for one year before teaching at Arthur L. Johnson High School for 15 years. I became a teacher because I really struggled in school but I had amazing teachers that inspired me to work harder to achieve my goals. I want to be that teacher for my students. I love teaching, traveling, hanging out with my family and friends, and going to concerts.
Some of my proudest moments as a teacher is being a founding member of the Tylor Collins Scholarship Fund, advisor to a class three times, running the Key Club for several years, helping a student with a serious medical condition to stay calm while waiting for medical help, and hearing the success stories of my former students.
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings 7:10-7:25 and after school from 2:30-2:50 in C202.
Please reach out to me so I know you are planning on coming for help.
