Welcome! 

A bit about myself: I am Katarina Lucic-Schumann, Mrs. Lucic, this is my fifteenth year teaching. I went to Rutgers University and studied English Lit. and taught English for four years in New Brunswick High School until I earned a second degree in Special Education. My husband and I are high school sweethearts with two kids and a dog now. I enjoy painting, trips to Maine, and kayaking. Among my goals for students this year is for them to learn how to think critically and respond respectfully to the topics we will be studying no matter the platform they are using to connect with our class -- life skills that will serve them immensely well as they enter into adulthood and beyond!   There is so much that I am looking forward to this school year and can’t wait to meet all the challenges.
