Welcome to Mr. Wade’s Health/Physical Education class.  I am looking forward to a great year with many fun and exciting activities. All of my students will be participating in a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities. 

The Physical Education dress code expectations are slightly different from the school-wide dress code expectations,  due to the active nature of our class.  These expectations are necessary to ensure the safety, active participation and comfort of all students.

PE Dress Code

• T-shirt with sleeves/sweatshirt, shorts or sweatpants, sneakers, and socks. (No Crocks or Uggs)

• Shirts must have sleeves (no tank tops or cut-offs shirts)

• All shirts must pass waistline (no crop tops)

• All shorts must be athletic style clothing, fingertip length with arms extended (no buttons or zippers)

• For student safety, all earrings must be removed. If a student can’t remove the earring because it is a new piercing, it must be a stud, they must have a note stating when it was pierced and when it will be removed (6 weeks from piercing date). If the earring can’t be removed after the 6 weeks, they must obtain a doctor’s note explaining why.

• Students are required to bring their own lock (not school assigned lock) to each PE class. To be able secure their personal belongings if they have any.
