The Physical Education dress code expectations are slightly different from the school-wide dress code expectations, due to the active nature of our class. These expectations are necessary to ensure the safety, active participation and comfort of all students.
PE Dress Code
T-shirt with sleeves/sweatshirt, shorts or sweatpants, sneakers, and socks. (No Crocks or Uggs)
Shirts must have sleeves (no tank tops or cut-offs shirts)
All shirts must pass waistline (no crop tops)
All shorts must be athletic style clothing, fingertip length with arms extended (no buttons or zippers)
For student safety, all earrings must be removed. If a student can’t remove the earring because it is a new piercing, it must be a stud, they must have a note stating when it was pierced and when it will be removed (6 weeks from piercing date). If the earring can’t be removed after the 6 weeks, they must obtain a doctor’s note explaining why.
Students are required to bring their own lock (not school assigned lock) to each PE class. To be able secure their personal belongings if they have any.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation and support with our Physical Education program.
