Voicethread is an online platform that lets you add audio and video comments to a slide deck of still images. Unlike a video, viewers can click through your comments at their own pace.
You can access Voicethread via the Google apps button from Gmail (the little waffle).
Screencastify is a Chrome extension that lets you record what is happening on your computer screen. During this video (called a screencast), you can also provide voiceover or embed a smaller video of yourself. Use Screencastify to highlight features of graphics/animations or to talk through Google Slides. All recordings are saved to your Google Drive.
After you add Screencastify to Chrome, you can access it by clicking on the icon next to your address bar.
New Google Sites is an online platform that lets you create a website with text, images, videos, and Google Drive files embedded. You can access Google Sites via the Google apps button from Gmail (the little waffle).
