Lego Minifigure
9/16/2025
To me, this is one of my models that I am most proud of. This project was a part of module 3, during this module I was doing catch up work because in the beginning of it I did not manage my time wisely. Even though I was behind I was determined to catch back up and finish this because I knew that it was going to be worth it. There were a few specific tools I used that helped me get this model to look good, these tools include chamfer, proboolean and extrude along with many basic primitives that I shaped to make the minifigure look right. I could not have done this without BrainBuffet, this is a site that has a bunch of videos and activities to help you learn in 3ds Max. Overall this is one of if not my favorite models that I have made because it looks good and I learned many important skills when it comes to modeling.
Object Modeling
10/10/2025
You may notice a pattern, many of my favorite models I have done are from module 3 and with no surprise this one is as well. This air freshener took me about 2 days working on it in class and a flex period so in total it took me just under 3 hours. What I am most proud of in this model is the attention to detail. Although I wasn't able get get every single detail in it, there are supposed to be words on the back side of it, unfortunately I had to settle with this because the end of the module was rapidly approaching. I am proud of how well I did on this while only working on it for a shorter period of time. On the bottom side of this model I worked on all the carvings in the inside which I am very happy with how those turned out and am proud of myself because I can see the my progress from when I started to know.
Table Lamp
10/27/2025
For my third and probably favorite model I have made so far, it is a table lamp. This was fairly easy to make and took me less than a class period to do complete. I made a backdrop, a table and a lamp, but the fun part was getting the lighting right which wasn't the easiest but in the end I am very happy with how this piece turned out. I would like to believe that not just this piece but also my previous two up above show my skills and what I am capable of. Unintentionally I believe I chose 3 models that really grasp what I can do.
Hanger Scene
1/9/2026
Out of all of my models and creations I have made this year, I am most proud of the Hangar Scene. Everything in this picture has taken me a total of about 3-4 weeks so far to model. This scene reflects my style of modeling, I wanted it to look as mysterious as possible while also highlighting my jet. I am more than happy with how this hangar has turned out, from the lighting and texturing to all the models. This scene is a part of my Peformance Based Measurement (PBM) Now that I am done with all the models and lights I am going to animate it.
Jet
1/7/2026
I chose my jet to be in my show real because I am very proud with how it turned out. A reason I am proud of this model is because of how difficult it was to make and how long it took me. It is split up into 2 parts, the body and the head. The body was by far the most time consuming, I started with a single box and after hours and hours of tampering and messing with different polygons and vertex's it finally looked how I wanted it to. Then came the head and the difficult part between the two was making the body and head line up seamlessly. One other reason why I chose this and why I am proud of it is because it is the main character in my final project.
Rock Monster & Lego Character
12/16/2025
I have noticed this year that we reuse things that we have made in the past such as the rock monster and the Lego character. I chose this because I think it is really cool how often we reused things that we have made. I am also happy with how this turned out because this was on of the first rigging lessons we went over and I felt like I did a good job. For this I made it look like the monster is picking up the Lego characters and the Lego characters is scared but the monster is confused at the same time. In this we were supposed to rig the rock monster and Lego characters and the type of rigging I worked on allowed me to have the ability to move the arms, legs and heads of both the Lego characters and rock monster.
