• Camp Ignite - Chapel Hill (June 15-18) 

Camp Ignite – Chapel Hill, a free, four-day firefighting camp for high school–aged girls in the Orange County school system, taking place June 15–18. This program is a collaboration between the Carrboro Fire Department, Chapel Hill Fire Department, and Chapel Hill High School.

​Camp Ignite is designed to empower and educate young women about fire safety, emergency response, and leadership in the fire service. Participants engage in hands-on training, interactive workshops, and mentorship opportunities with local firefighters, with the goal of inspiring interest in careers in firefighting and emergency services.
