Say It with Glass Internship Opportunity
Say It with Glass will be hosting two high school students in our studio this summer for a 6 week Open Studio introduction to glasswork, and all materials are included.
You can find more information here in our application. The deadline to apply is May 30th. Applicants must be at least 16 years old, and have parent consent to be considered.
Camp Ignite - Chapel Hill (June 15-18)
Camp Ignite – Chapel Hill, a free, four-day firefighting camp for high school–aged girls in the Orange County school system, taking place June 15–18. This program is a collaboration between the Carrboro Fire Department, Chapel Hill Fire Department, and Chapel Hill High School.
Camp Ignite is designed to empower and educate young women about fire safety, emergency response, and leadership in the fire service. Participants engage in hands-on training, interactive workshops, and mentorship opportunities with local firefighters, with the goal of inspiring interest in careers in firefighting and emergency services.
