Fact Fluency
A big part of third grade math this year will be learning multiplication and division. We will work on fact fluency as we learn multiplication and they can use those facts to help them with division. You can support your student by working on learning their multiplication facts and practicing fact fluency at home. For suggestions of how to support fact fluency, refer to our fact fluency letter!
Problem Solving Strategy
This year we will use a math strategy called CUBES to help students think about word problems carefully.
