Teen Mental Health Summit

Wanted: Original Artwork & T-shirt Design

What?

Looking for original digital art designs to display on t-shirts for the Teen Mental Health Summit scheduled for October 2022. Art designs will also be used on both digital and printed promotional materials for the Summit. Designs will need to fit on the back of a t-shirt using green, black and/or white as design colors.

Who?

High school students in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools and Orange county Schools are invited to submit their designs.

When?

All digital designs and consent forms should be submitted by May 20th, 2022 .

What should the design reflect?

The mission is to raise awareness surrounding mental health, identify tools and resources, and to reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness. The design should reflect a message of hope. It could reflect how mental illness affects teens, factors that impact mental health, the importance of self-care and support for mental well-being, or a message that reduces stigma. Get creative, but keep the mission in mind!

Prizes?

There are recognition prizes! $100- 1st Place, $75- 2nd Place, $50- 3rd Place
