6th Grade Orchestra students will choose their instruments at the start of the semester in the Fall. You may wish to choose your instrument earlier, too! Orchestra is a year long course, so students will be enrolled in the Fall as well as the Spring. If students have had previous experience playing an instrument, students can work on advanced repertoire in 6th grade, and may also choose to play on the 7th and 8th grade concert based on playing ability. We have school instruments to rent to students that wish to play. It is recommended that students rent an instrument for the entire year. Students will need to be sized for their instruments either by me, or at the music rental store. Please do not purchase instruments off of Amazon or Craigslist, etc! It is also recommended that you also purchase the instrument insurance policy as well! Please check out our rental webpage for more information.
