3D Modeling & Animation
2025-2026
2025-2026
This is my project in which I created a pawn and I enjoyed making it a lot but I had some tough moments. I struggled with using the line tool to outline half of the pawn but I kept trying and was able to get better at it and use that tool in my final project. I learned about how to use the lathe tool to create a mirrored version of my half pawn spline which made it into the full chess piece. I'm very proud of the line work because that was a part that took me atleast 10 times to get perfect and it ended up being very useful. This was my chess pawn project for 3D modeling thank you for reading.
Citizen Kane: 4/6/26
This is my Citizen Kane project in which I learned how to render a scene and use lights and cameras. From my experience setting up the lights and camera was difficult and took a lot of tweaking to get perfect render results. I added lights and cameras to the scene to perfectly recreate the lighting and camera work in the assigned scene from Citizen Kane. I ran into problems when setting up my cameras because it would not capture the scene correctly and I wasnt used to the 3D enviroment. I also did a lot of tweaking to the lights and how bright they are, the placement, etc. This was my Citizen Kane project, Thank you.
Telecaster: 3/20/26
This is my final project and the one im most proud of, I chose to build a telecaster body. I used the line spline tool for a lot of it which was difficult because it is hard to control. I tried using the lathe tool to make the spline a 3D object but it did not do what I wanted so I looked and I found the bevel profile is the tool I needed. I am a big fan of guitar and this was a very fun piece to make and makes me want to continue 3D modeling outside of school. I was very proud of the tone switch I made, even though its just a little part of the piece it was fun being able to easily use the skills i've learned and use the poly modifier to create the switch accurately. This was my final 3D modeling project thank you for reading.
